Neuqua Valley will once again be hosting the Neuqua Otters summer swim team.  This summer program is for Indian Prairie School District #204 students ages 5 through 18. This is an excellent opportunity for swimmers looking to join a team and to improve their swimming skills. It is a great chance to have a lot of fun and compete against other teams in the area.

 

The swim team is part of the Naperville Swim Conference and will be competing in dual meets against other teams in Naperville.

 

The swim team’s season will begin Thursday, May 28th and runs through July 18th for swimmers in the Classic Meet and July 25th for swimmers qualifying for the City Meet.  The first two weeks of practice will be held in the evening and the remainder of the season will be held in the morning.

 

All swimmers interested in joining the team must be able to complete minimum requirements to register.  All 8 and unders must be able to complete 25 yards freestyle and backstroke without stopping the stroke.  All swimmers 9 years old and over must be able to swim 50 yards of freestyle, backstroke, and either breaststroke or butterfly legally.
